Acne is caused by a build-up of dead skin cells, excess sebum, and a compromised skin barrier. This leads to clogged pores, blackheads, subcutaneous inflammation, and darker post-acne marks.

The Acne & Balance Set combines three targeted products, each addressing a different aspect of the problem:

  • 15% Glycolic Acid Cleanser: Removes accumulated skin cells and sebum, unclogs pores, and reduces blackheads. Essential as a first step: it prepares the skin for better absorption and efficacy of retinol and active ingredients. Arginine keeps the formula skin-friendly.
  • Retinol 0.3%: regulates sebum production, accelerates cell renewal, and helps resolve subcutaneous blockages. Bisabolol soothes and reduces redness.
  • Cellular Renewal Creme: urea and squalane strengthen the skin barrier and retain moisture; panthenol and allantoin provide comfort during active routines.
  • SPF50 is highly recommended with this routine, especially when using retinol or acids, to prevent pigmentation spots and protect the skin from UV and blue light — but is not standard in the set.

Result: skin that clogs less easily, reacts more calmly, renews more evenly, and recovers better thanks to glycolic acid, retinol, and barrier-strengthening ingredients.

HOE GEBRUIKEN?

Ochtend

  1. Reinig met de 15% Glycolzuur Cleanser.
  2. Breng de Cellular Renewal Cream aan.
  3. Sluit af met een SPF50 (sterk aanbevolen).

Avond

  1. Reinig opnieuw met de 15% Glycolzuur Cleanser.
  2. Breng Retinol 0,3% aan (bouw geleidelijk op).
  3. Sluit af met de Cellular Renewal Cream.

Gebruik dagelijks SPF tijdens deze routine om de huid te beschermen tegen UV-schade en post-inflammatoire pigmentatie.

Active ingredients

  • Mousse texture that cleanses without drying
  • Lifts excess cell buildup for better penetration of active ingredients

Hydration & comfort

  • Glycerin + Xylitol complex:hydrates and keeps the skin comfortable during exfoliation.
  • Leuconostoc Ferment:natural ferment with soothing properties.

Cleansing base

  • Coco-Glucoside & Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside:effective but gentle cleansers that remove sebum and dirt without stripping the barrier.

Retinol 0.3% — Smooth Operator

Active ingredients

  • 0.3% pure retinol:regulates sebum, accelerates cell renewal, refines pores, and supports collagen.
  • 1% Alpha Bisabolol:soothes redness and sensitivity.
  • Jojoba Oil:softens and keeps the skin comfortable during retinol use.

Cellular Renewal Cream

Barrier-strengthening & repairing ingredients

  • Urea:attracts moisture, softens, and supports exfoliation comfort.
  • Squalane:strengthens the skin barrier without feeling heavy.
  • Panthenol & Allantoin:soothe, reduce sensitivity, and support repair.
  • Retinyl Palmitate:mild vitamin A that supports cell renewal.

SPF50 (recommended but not included)

Retinol accelerates cell renewal, making the skin more sensitive to UV and blue light. SPF50 protects the skin during this process against redness, dark spots, and collagen degradation. An indispensable step to maintain the effects of glycolic acid and retinol and prevent new damage.
