Behind the Sarasin brand is Nurse Karen, with her years of experience, clear vision, and genuine passion for skin improvement. As the founder of Sarasin Clinic in Gent and Beveren, Karen guides clients every day in their quest for healthy, radiant skin.
This daily practical experience led her to a clear insight: most people need well-thought-out, science-based skincare. Not an overload of products or hype, but a line that really works, is substantiated, and brings the skin into balance.
This is how the Sarasin brand came into being: a proprietary line developed from practical experience, with a clear mission—to support the health of your skin in a smart, no-nonsense way.
From clinical experience to science-based skincare
Sarasin is more than just a webshop. It's the translation of clinical experience into medical-grade skincare and supplements, developed from science rather than marketing.
Our formulas are developed in collaboration with doctors and biomedical experts, because skincare should be based on measurable mechanisms — not assumptions or trends.
Just as you expect fresh ingredients in a restaurant, we believe that skincare should also be fresh, pure, and well-thought-out. Active ingredients must remain active, without an overload of preservatives that place an additional burden on the skin.
That's why we work with:

But our vision does not stop there. Sarasin is evolving. In the near future, we will further expand our range with other supporting products that contribute to a holistic approach to skin and body care.

Our philosophy
For example, when collagen stimulation is activated in the clinic through a treatment such as Reyu, fibroblasts receive the signal to produce collagen. However, that signal alone is not enough. Without the right building blocks — through targeted collagen supplements — the response remains limited.
The same applies to skin quality and glow. When the gut microbiome is out of balance, even the best skincare will only have a limited effect. That is why true skin improvement also starts with the gut–skin axis, with support from pre- and probiotics.
